Vomiting & Regurgitation - Hiatal Hernia

Bulldogs and French Bulldogs Hiatal hernias (diaphragmatic hernias) is a birth defect common to the breed. Most common clinical signs are retching, reflexing, vomiting and regurgitation. The acid reflux can lead to esophagitis and a megaesophagus with regurgitation and inhalation of its content to the lung (i.e. Aspiration Pneumonia).
