Vomiting & Regurgitation - Megaesophagus

Bulldogs and French Bulldogs Megaesophagus is a dilation and reduce motility of the esophagus. The dilated pocket collects indigested food that leads to regurgitation (vs vomit from lower down). In bulldog the cause is often due to elongated soft palate gastric reflux esophagitis. Bulldog aspiration pneumonia is common complication to regurgitation.
