How many times a day should I feed my French bulldog puppy? ⏳
Dr. Kraemer, we just adopted a sweet and active French bulldog puppy we named "Swifty". The rescue told us that she was only three months old.🐾
How many times a day do you feed a French bulldog puppy
We feed her 4 meals and healthy treats in between 🍖 Is that sufficient? She seems to want more, but we notice that in the morning she sometimes starts to retch and some gooey stuff comes out.

This is a great question that many concerned bulldog owners ask. It's important for Swifty's digestive system to thoroughly process each meal, allowing her to absorb the necessary nutrients and eliminate waste properly.

Large meals can take longer to digest, especially since puppy food has a higher nutrient density, which slows down stomach emptying. For this reason, it’s best to divide Swifty’s estimated caloric needs into 4-6 smaller meals throughout the day.
Feeding at regular intervals and taking her for a walk after meals can also help with potty training.
I recommend 4-6 small daily meals over fewer big ones
How Can I Prevent My Fr. Bulldog Puppy Morning Retching?
To prevent morning retching, try feeding her last meal closer to bedtime, so there isn’t a long gap between dinner and breakfast.
