Wrinkle & Skinfold Antiseptic XL Wipes

A deep skin fold behaves a lot like a greenhouse. It is warm, it holds moisture, and almost no air moves through it. That is party time for yeast and bacteria that live on normal skin anyway, which is why a fold can turn red, damp and smelly without anything unusual having happened. Bulldogs simply carry more of these folds than most breeds, on the face, nose, neck, paws, and the dreaded corkscrew tail pocket, so the same skin that gives them their irresistible look also gives them more places for trouble to set up.

For most bully folds and wrinkles you will want our specially customized extra-large antiseptic pullout wipes. Wipe gently, but make sure you reach the full depth of the fold, and do it preventively as routine rather than waiting for a flare. There is no need to dry the fold afterwards. The wipe is coated with a soothing antiseptic solution that is meant to stay on the skin, so it cleans and soothes in one step, and going back over it with a dry wipe can irritate the area. If your bully fold is already raw or painful, see your veterinarian. It might require short-term medication, and while a topical might complement treatment, that decision should be made with your veterinarian.
