This family is about the spine, not the legs. Bulldogs are a screw tail, short back breed, and a good number of them are carrying malformed vertebrae they will never be diagnosed with. That is a different problem from a worn hip. Raymond is a 7 yr old French Bulldog with Syringohydromyelia, which is a rare neurological disorder characterized by the formation of a fluid-filled cavity (syrinx) within the spinal cord – the cervical area in his case. He has been receiving neurological treatment -medication, PT, massage, electro acupuncture – for over 3 years.
