Dr. Kraemer’s Bulldog specialty hospital served both first-time and longtime Bulldog and French Bulldog owners, regionally, statewide and selected committed bulldog owners from out of state as well as English and French bulldog rescue groups.
From puppy care to lifelong Bulldog health, my work began with a warm welcome at reception, careful attention in the exam room, and follow-up in the days and weeks afterward.

BULLDOG SPECIALTY EDUCATION:
Dr. Kraemer graduated from Tufts Veterinary School, located in North Grafton, near Boston, Massachusetts. His deep-rooted passion for animal welfare traces back to his upbringing.
Raised near a farm where he tended to horses and cattle, Dr. Kraemer forged a profound connection with animals from a young age. This upbringing instilled in him a sense of responsibility and compassion toward all creatures.
During his college years, Dr. Kraemer continued to nurture his commitment to animal welfare. He dedicated himself to providing a nature program for children at a summer camp in upstate New York, further solidifying his dedication to the well-being of animals and fostering a love for nature in the younger generation.

DR. KRAEMER’S LIFE EXPERIENCE
Before applying to veterinary school, Dr. Kraemer amassed valuable experience working in diverse roles within the equine industry. He honed his skills on the racetrack in New York City, gained insights at the Thoroughbred Jockey Club, and contributed his expertise to horse farms in Maryland and Virginia.

BULLDOG AND FRENCH BULLDOG RESCUE:
Dr. Kraemer and his team have been working closely with the Southern California Bulldog Rescue (SCBR), providing shelter and medical and surgical services for over a decade.
Rescue work has been a lasting part of my Bulldog practice.
DR. KRAEMER’S SPECIAL INTERESTS, FAMILY, AND HOBBIES
Dr. K, along with his wife and their two children, lovingly cares for Lily, a spirited rescue dog who was abandoned and rescued. They also provide a warm home for Benjamin, a stray cat they welcomed into their family, and Susi, a shelter kitty. Lily, Susi, and Benjamin have become cherished members of their extended family of rescued pets.
Outside of their commitment to animal welfare, Dr. K and his family lead active lives filled with outdoor adventures.
They enjoy hiking, ice skating, swimming, trips to the beach, cycling, camping, and relishing every moment spent together in nature.
Away from the exam room, family and the outdoors keep me grounded.
