Are Your Bully Therapeutics and Supplements FDA Approved?
Good afternoon Dr. Kraemer,
We took our Frenchie, Tiko, to the vet recently. Afterwards I sent links to the doctor for your products he has been taking.
The doctors only response was "Those supplements aren't FDA approved." I was livid! Especially after he made a comment about how bad long -term use of Rimadyl is, which I've already backed Tiko off of since he has been taking your back supplements.
Thankfully, Tiko is doing much better on your products!
Tiko is doing much better on your products! ❤️
Thank you,
Nicole & Tiko
Dr. K. Are Your Bulldog Therapeutics and Supplements FDA Approved?
Dear Nicole & sweet "Tiko",
What a thoughtful (and important!) question—thank you so much for sharing it. I can assure you that many fellow bulldog moms in our "Prevention Over Prescription" community are wondering the same, and I’m thrilled to have the chance to address it.
I completely understand how your vet’s comment might have sounded concerning, but it’s a bit misplaced.
Think of it this way: it’s like your child’s tricycle mechanic warning you that the trike isn’t approved by the DMV or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
How relevant is your bike mechanic warning?.
FDA Approved: Prescription Drugs Versa Supplements
Unlike prescription drugs, pet supplements and topicals do not require FDA pre-market approval. However, that doesn’t mean they’re unregulated.
In fact, the Dr. Kraemer's V4B Bully therapeutics are manufactured in FDA-regulated, cGMP-certified facilities, which are subject to FDA audits and oversight.
Plus, our product labels are fully compliant with FDA guidelines—so transparency, accuracy, and safety are always top priority.
Prescription medications are like those semi-trucks: powerful, potentially risky, and tightly regulated for good reason.
They undergo lengthy FDA review processes and often come with long lists of side effects, even the approved ones.
Most require a doctor’s prescription or even medical supervision to administer safely.
In contrast, our therapeutic topicals and supplements are more like the gentle, safe kids tricycles. The are:
- Non-RX: They’re not classified as prescription drugs but are regulated more like food.
- Non-Prescription: They do not require prescription and can easily and safely administer by the owners at home.
- High Safety: they’re generally much safer, especially for long-term use.
Most importantly, they don’t carry the same inherent risks as prescription drugs and vaccines.
Benefits Of Dr. K. Therapeutics and Supplements Over Others
