Zoe is a French Bulldog who is fully paralyzed with her rear legs. I don’t know what happened to her before because she became a rescued dog. I adopted her from a rescue group in my country Taiwan since nobody wanted to give her a chance.

Dear Rescued French Bulldog,

Some of the most common neurological problems related to the disuse (paraplegia, paralysis) hind legs in French bulldogs and English Bulldogs are hemivertebrae, spina bifida and disc herniation (IVD). But since you don’t have any history the list can be long. Does she have any urination or defecation issues? She will need a neurological evaluation and then possibly x-rays, myelogram, MRI and/or CT.
