What is that?

Colitis involves the large intestines (colon). It is an inflammatory condition that is mostly due to parasites, bacteria, or lack of fiber (see supplement photo).

Symptoms

Bulldog colitis usually presents with diarrhea, straining, gas, mucus, and bloody stool.

What is that?

Lymphoma comes in various forms, peripheral or multicenter. The location of cancer can be found in locations such as intestinal, mediastinal, dermal, or other lymphatic and node locations.

Symptoms

Weight loss, appetite loss, diarrhea, vomiting, protein, vitamin B12 deficiencies, and death.

Anal Gland Disease

What is that?

Your bulldog’s anal glands are embedded in the anus muscles at 5 and 7 o'clock, thus not readily visible. Each one of the pairs has its own glandular sac and attached ducts that normally empty into the rectum during defecation.

Symptoms

Anal glands abscesses are impacted infected painful, and itchy glands that blow up to a walnut red rosy size. Butt scooting is common, and the abscess often raptures dripping a bloody smelly material.

Gingivitis is gum disease or inflammation of the gingiva. left untreated it can turn into advanced periodontal disease.

Symptoms

Gingivitis presents as red, inflamed, raw, painful, at times bleeding, gingiva/gums.

Plaque & Tartar

What is that?

Bulldog plaque and tartar starts as a white-like substance that forms on the teeth after a meal, it then can turn into calculus which provides a surface for bacteria to grow ending with infection and periodontitis.

Symptoms
